Pioneer Acres is operated by a team of volunteer members who, in many cases, have extended their golden years
of retirement, performing the duties necessary to meet the club's objectives. These include work to collect,
restore, maintain and demonstrate the artifacts which were used by the pioneers of early Alberta. The end result is that
present and future generations have the opportunity to glimpse into our pioneering past through the artifacts on display
and demonstrated. Younger members of the club also learn the care, maintenance and operation of these living artifacts.

As a member, what do I have to do?
The short answer is: Get involved! You see, there are many things you can do as a member of Pioneer Acres.
There is everything from restoring a tractor to making ice cream at the show. To
start with, you should attend the quarterly business meetings to find out what's
happening and where our needs are. Of course, you can just drop into the Pioneer Acres grounds and spend some
time here! The Pioneer Acres Newsletter will keep you informed of events and activities. Sound like fun?
Our corporate sponsorship program is being reviewed. Details will be posted here around the middle of June 2015.
